Recently I was asked if I would put a time about what period the Camden Layout would represent. I replied:- "At present, anytime after the 1st January 1963".
The power to the shed has been turned off, Camden has been cleared of all it's trains, and is being rested for a while, along with myself.

Good seeing the whole layout, and how it fits inside your shed, showing the ample people area space. And ever so neat with your storage of scenery and other items Makes the rest of us jealous.... a lot!!

ReplyDeleteMy previous 2 layouts occupied some of the centre floor space, and made it hard to move around with visitors present. I was determined not to have that with Camden. This also allowed me to have 27" radius curves in both corners and Large Electrofrog points in all. I have also only modelled the 3 important parts of the line. The rest is not important for operation anyway.
Such a nice layout room! I hope having a rest from your recent DCC dramas gives you a clear head for when you next sit by the layout with a nice cup of tea and ask yourself, 'what will I model today?'

DeleteTook your suggestion, had my coffee and gave some thought to what to model next, and decided it will be on the top shelf of the cupboard. Don't know what to call it yet !!
